The Bellfield Press

We inaugurate this new imprint with Children of the Manse, the remarkable memoirs of Alice Smith, sister of William Robertson Smith and great-grandmother of Astrid Hess, who has translated these reminiscences of Alice’s Victorian upbringing in the Free Church Manse of Keig from the original German manuscript in collaboration with Gordon Booth.
